Dick pulling out?

OK, let's start a pool for the date that Dick Cheney resigns for health reasons and to "spend more time with his family" so Bush can appoint a VP who is a viable choice to run for president in 2008. They already started moving that direction with Cheney's hospital visit the other day. Am I too cynical to suggest that Rove was behind this?

Maybe. Maybe not.

The winner is the one who picks the date closest to when Cheney actually resigns. The tie-breaker could be picking who the replacement will be. (Jeb, Rudy, etc.)
